Chris started his financial planning practice in 1979 in San Diego, and now has clients throughout the United States. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, having earned the designation in 1989, and holds the Series 7, 22, 24, 63, and 66 securities registrations. In addition, Chris is licensed in multiple states to transact securities and insurance business including life, disability, and variable insurance products.
He is a Registered Principal with SagePoint Financial, Inc. and is a member of the San Diego chapter of the Financial Planning Association. Chris served in the Air Force for four years, stationed primarily at Edwards Air Force Base in California. Following his honorable discharge, he attended college in San Diego for several years, studying journalism and photography, before joining the ranks of financial planning professionals. Chris is married to Virginia Horowitz; they have a daughter, Christine, and one grandchild, Dashelle (the Dash man) Kieffer. He enjoys travel, table tennis, and is an avid skier.
